1. Initial Estimates

When you submit photos of your coins for appraisal, we provide an initial value estimate based on the information and images you provide. These estimates are preliminary only and are subject to change upon physical inspection of the coins.

Factors that may affect the final offer include:

• Actual condition of the coins (wear, damage, cleaning)
• Authenticity verification
• Accurate identification of dates, mint marks, and varieties
• Current precious metal prices at time of inspection
• Overall quality that may not be visible in photos

2. Final Offers & Inspection

Once we receive your coins, we will:

1. Physically inspect each coin
2. Verify authenticity
3. Assess actual condition and grade
4. Calculate current precious metal value (if applicable)
5. Provide you with a final purchase offer

You are under no obligation to accept our final offer. If you decline, we will return your coins to you at your expense (see section 4).

4. Declining Offers & Returns

If you choose not to accept our final offer:

• We will return your coins to you
• You are responsible for return shipping costs
• Return shipping will be deducted from any refundable deposit (if applicable)
• We recommend insured shipping for valuable items

We will contact you to arrange return shipping and payment of shipping costs before returning your coins.

5. Shipping Requirements

When shipping coins to us:

• Package coins securely to prevent damage during transit
• We recommend using tracked and insured shipping
• Include your contact information and reference number (if provided)
• You assume all risk of loss or damage during shipping to us
• We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit

Once you accept our final offer:

• Payment method: Interac e-Transfer only
• Payment timing: Within 24 hours of your acceptance
• Payment is sent to the email address you provided
• You must have a Canadian bank account to receive Interac e-Transfer

Once payment is sent and accepted, the transaction is final and ownership of the coins transfers to SellMyCoins.ca.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns or disputes regarding your transaction:

1. Contact us immediately at [email protected]
2. We will work with you in good faith to resolve any issues
3. All disputes will be handled according to Canadian law

9. Changes to Terms

SellMyCoins.ca reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time you submit your coins will apply to your transaction.
